The following review written by one of the Software Informer contributors applies to version 1.5
Mirabyte Feed Writer 1.5.3 is the latest released version of this freeware utility for Windows. It is delivered on a freeware basis for evaluation, personal and non-commercial usages only; otherwise, we must purchase Feed Writer Premium, a commercial version with more advanced features. The free version can be downloaded directly from the developer’s website. While installing, we can select the program language between English and German. Feed Writer features an RSS editor, which can help us create, update, and support our own RSS news feeds. When writing a new feed item we can choose between RSS 2.0, RSS 0.91, RSS 0.92, and Podcast feed formats. It allows us to create feeds containing non-Latin characters, such as Russian, Japanese, etc. We can create feeds using simple text or WYSIWYG HTML , enter the feed properties, logo properties, preview it, and many more. There is an online help guide, which includes how to create our own weblog and free support. It runs under Windows 2000, XP, and Vista operating systems. |
